Hello there,
I’m not sure which menu you actually mean but announcements open with a pop-up and there are no menus on the top. It should be like this-> http://prntscr.com/mcppcg
Please let me know if you mean something else. In that case, consider providing a screenshot.

Mine is not opening up in a pop up window. Is their a setting for this? It is also not doing that on the demo. You click on the tab for the announcement and it just takes you to the announcement page. There is no tabs on that page to go back to any of the HR pages. I need to have this fixed. Please advise…

I just checked it on the demo as you said the demo is not working either, but I found it’s working as it should be. If I click on the announcement, it’s opening a popup.
However, I can understand you are facing the issue on your site somehow. Maybe there is a conflicting issue causing the problem or something else. Have you checked the theme/plugin conflict yet? If it doesn’t work even after checking the conflict, then contact our support center with your site credentials. We’ll debug the issue on your site.
